We founded Moto Rent Ioannina because we believe the best way to discover Epirus is on two wheels — with the breeze off the lake, the scent of pine forests and no windscreen between you and the mountains. Our small fleet and local knowledge exist for one reason: to make this experience effortless for every visitor.

Moto Rent Ioannina was founded by a small team of locals who grew up exploring the roads of Epirus. We know the shortcut to that hidden cove by the lake, the taverna in Metsovo where the cheese pie is legendary, and the hairpin above Vikos that offers the most breathtaking view in mainland Greece.
We intentionally keep our fleet small — five Piaggio Liberty 125cc scooters, each maintained to the highest standards — so we can give every rider personal attention. When you pick up your scooter, you also receive our phone number, our favourite route tips and the peace of mind that a local is always just a call away.

Lake Pamvotida is your starting point — a peaceful morning loop with lakeside cafés and the tiny island of Nisi. From there, the road climbs towards Metsovo, where clouds sit at eye level and shepherds still tend Vlach flocks. Push further and the Zagori villages unfold: 46 hamlets connected by cobbled paths and Ottoman-era bridges over rivers that glow turquoise.

Every Piaggio Liberty 125cc is serviced after every rental. We check the tyres, brakes, lights and fluids before we hand you the key — no exceptions. Our scooters are never more than two seasons old.
Trained Staff
Before you ride, we walk you through the scooter, adjust your helmet and show you the controls — even if you have ridden before. New to scooters? We will take extra time until you feel completely comfortable.
24/7 Roadside Assistance
Flat tyre on the road to Metsovo? Call us. We answer around the clock during your rental and will come to you anywhere in Epirus. Full insurance is included with every booking — ride with complete peace of mind.
